Bringing a baby into the world is one of life’s most precious moments, and for families who desire a private, peaceful, and elevated postpartum experience, the Waters Pavilion at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital offers an exceptional option.
Experience Private and Tranquil Rest and Recovery
Located on the second floor of Piedmont Atlanta Hospital, the Waters Pavilion is designed to provide a serene and supportive environment for new mothers and their families. Each of the six private suites offers:

A spacious private bedroom and bath for both the patient and their guest
Fine linens and elegant décor for a comfortable, hotel-like experience
A separate family area featuring a sleeper sofa, dining table, microwave, and mini fridge
Satellite TV and a DVD player for entertainment during the stay
Concierge service for special requests
Afternoon tea service for a relaxing moment each day
The suites are designed with privacy and rest in mind. They offer a secure, closed-unit setup with locked doors to ensure a quiet and uninterrupted stay
Receive Expert Care from a Dedicated Nursing Team
The Waters Pavilion is staffed by a team of specialty postpartum nurses, ensuring that each patient receives attentive and compassionate care. With only 2-3 patients per nurse, mothers can expect personalized support throughout their recovery.
The nursery is just down the hall, where newborns receive their checkups with a physician. Parents are welcome to visit the nursery at any time or can request to have their baby brought to their suite. A breastfeeding lactation specialist is also available for bedside support, helping mothers feel confident and comfortable in their breastfeeding journey.
Gourmet Dining, Prepared by a Private Chef
One of the many special touches at the Water Pavilion is the exceptional dining experience. Unlike traditional hospital food, all meals are freshly prepared in a private kitchen by an onsite chef and served three times a day.
Patients and their guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner made with care, and one complimentary meal per day is provided for the patient’s guest.
