Recently I had the opportunity to tour the Piedmont Newton Hospital located in Covington, Georgia. It was really insightful to learn more about our local hospital. I have visited this hospital on several occasions to support clients in labor, but had not had a chance to look at the other departments. We visited the E.R., L & D, NICU, the cancer center, among other departments. The greatest takeaway I have from this visit was the sense of community the employees have with each other. Everyone was so friendly, kind, and helpful. It was an honor to have the opportunity to meet so many amazing people!
